The Austin Disaster Relief Network is a non-profit Christian Organization comprised of Church, Ministry, Business Leaders and Volunteers. They serve Christ by establishing a church network in the Greater Austin area that will meet the emotional, physical and spiritual needs of those affected by disaster.

The Soldiers Hospitality House provides a place for military personnel who are far from home, family, and friends to feel the warmth of a "home away from home". The ministry includes providing Bible studies, prayer, counseling, small groups, fellowship, activities, and support.
GBC has been involved in construction, maintenance, and ministry activities for the Soldiers Hospitality House over the years.

The ministry of Cadence International is "sharing our lives and the Gospel with the military community." The Wootens have been serving with Cadence since 1992. They serve as Team-Leaders for the Cadence staff at Fort Hood. Their work involves providing shepherding/supervision, strategic engagement/planning, and servant-hood (helping the staff where needed). They also serve with the chaplains in areas of discipleship, evangelism, and equipping soldiers and others in prayer.
